I didn’t find this out until today, but it seems add location now can import 3D buildings. Here’s the Eiffel Tower model from four years ago, with some nearby buildings.

same, I saw it on linkedin. on the demo, it was new york, great buildings, such details !

but leave big american cities and building height / shape is… well it’s the same as in cadmapper, it comes from openstreetmap, and it’s variable.

whole blocks default to a standard height or 5m.

still, better than nothing. Cadmapper is still an asset because of roads.
