What RAM do you have on your iPad?

Does anyone here use SketchUp for iPad? What RAM do you have on your iPad? I have 8 GB and SketchUp crashes frequently.

Which generation of iPad might matter more. Does the crashing happen with all models, or only ones that are complex? Can you let us try a model that does crash for you?

I have an iPad Pro 2022
It crashes when the files get bigger but I want to do more complicated drawings and bring in a lot of furniture and textures from 3d Warehouse. Does it matter what RAM it is?

What matters most with all versions of sketchup is selecting good/appropriate models from the warehouse.
Just downloading all sorts of stuff from the warehouse will bring even the most powerful computer to its knees.
Be selective on what you use.

With models downloaded from 3DW one thing to watch for is the size of textures. I don’t think the iPad app has an option to scale down textures, but you could do that on desktop with an extension.

For those cases, where there are a lot of big materials, more memory would help.

My iPad 6G would crash with large models. I’ve now moved to the 11" M4 iPad Pro with 1TB which maxes out the RAM. It handles models that would crash the old one, which is anecdotal, I know, but that’s my experience so far.
