I have been working on sketchup primarily on my old imac, but purchased a new macbook so I could work when away and for presentations. I have used trimble connect to transfer the sketchup model over. Have decided to make the macbook the primary working device now as it is more powerful but am having trouble moving all my files over with trimble,… Is there a better way to do this. And what about Layout? Does Trimble move Layout files as well?? I can’t seem to figure out how to do that. Or do I have to set up all my templates again on the macbook??? Argg.
While both machines are on the same network you could use AirDrop, and copy the files straight from the iMac to the MacBook Pro.
If you do use Trimble Connect, you could upload LayOut files and get them that way, but I don’t think there is a LayOut viewer for Trimble Connect.
