Hi! My name is Katy, and I’m a researcher at the Colorado School of Mines. My lab is looking for technology teachers to participate in a study on security and privacy education at the K-12 level, with the goal of understanding how and if security and privacy is taught and how it would be appropriate to introduce these topics. The study is all online and is broken into two parts.
First, you’ll take an initial online survey (~5 mins) that will ask questions about your teaching experience. Your answers to this survey will determine if you are eligible to complete a 60 minute virtual interview. If selected for the interview, you will be compensated with a $25 Amazon gift card. It may take 1 – 2 weeks to receive your gift card after participating in the study.
You are eligible for this study if you:
(1) Are at least 18 years old
(2) Have taught at least one course at the K-12 level with technology-related content.
(3) Are comfortable completing the study in English.
