I have a model that I would like to view on google earth. Can anyone tell me if that is still possible and if so, then please send me a link for a tutorial for doing this with Sketchup Pro 2017 or just tell me. If not possible any longer, then sorry for even asking.

Unfortunately, it has been impossible to upload to Google Earth for a few years, now.
You CAN, however, view a model in your local installation of Google Earth by saving as a .KMZ file, then opening with GE.
Only on your local GE ! export as .kmz File->export.
