Unexpected file format - Desperately looking for help

Dear all,

A file we have been working on since weeks, does not open anymore and shows the following error when opening it in Sketchup 2018 “Unexpected File format”.

We were working on that very file this morning without any issues.

All the .temp and .skb files dated from yesterday can not opened and show the same error.

This has never happened before and accounts for almost a full week of work lost.

Any wizards to help us out?

What’s the newest file version of that project that does open (1 week old)?

What happened when it was last saved - was there a bug splat?

If you can upload the file - we can double check if we can open it.

Copy your files on another PC and try to open.
