Unable to install SketchUp Pro 2017

CHERYLC:

rk 4.5.2 (x86 and x64) keeps installing over and over and never finishes. Any ideas on what to do?

SketchUp 2017 fails to install C++ SketchUp

Can confirm. I have VS2017 installed and was initially frustrated and then finally decided to look further; saw this and used 7zip to extract SketchUpMake-en-x64.exe into a directory and finally used the *.msi installer with success! Kudos and have a great new year! Extracted Directory Screenshot
