No you’re right. It’s components that I’ve been using for a long time and I never tough of looking at there size and details and all that stuff…. I think I have some homework to do for the next big projects.

It’s definitely worth doing - especially if you use similar components often
If that USB is shown in any layout document, then Layout has to draw every single edge of those metal clips that are on screen - even if you can’t really see them! Multiply that a couple of hundred times in your model and multiple pages of a layout document and things soon get slow.
