I’m trying to add 3D object to a real photo. So far I’ve found that I need to use the photo match tool. I found how to align the image to prepare for 3D design. I see how I need to trace outline using line tool. I see how you can add texture of real image to the 3D model. But when I rotate object the real image disappears and my 3d object becomes distorted, doesn’t look like the real image but added sections of textures, making the image not as clear as the original. Can’t I simply add my 3D object to the real photo?
If the Match Photo image is disappearing you aren’t rotating the object. You are orbiting the camera so it’s view no longer matches the camera in the image. If you need to rotate the object, select it and use the Rotate tool.
Not sure what you mean by this but maybe all you need to do is turn off the overlay image for the Match Photo in the Edit>Modeling pane of the Styles panel.
Yes you can. Here’s an example. First from the Match Photo camera position.
