How were these hybrid sketchup renderings created that Trimble uses in its marketing and on its website? Is this the vray plugin? Layered in photoshop with sketchup linework? Or, is this some rendering plugin or feature that I am unaware of?
This is likely a combination of techniques that may include some photoshop touch up, hard to say by looking only. But the hybrid of layering various rendering styles is commonly done by stacking viewports in Layout with different parts of the model in different styles but all with the same camera view and transparent backgrounds. The result is a composition that appears as if different aspects of the model are rendered in different styles.
