I remember that Aaron had in one of his tutorials how to make a chain from an image and make it transparent.
If someone has that tutorial, please post it here. I have to do a 4"x4" mesh.

A simple search for “chain” on the official SketchUp YouTube channel brought this right up…
I don’t see anything in the chain video about making it transparent. He did turn on Hidden Geometry to show the softened edges. Simple to do from the View menu.
Is not that one.
It was a chain to hang a light fixture or something like that.
