Tools don't work

I am new to all of this, have to learn Sketchup for work, but training videos do not match up to training files - no visual 3d axes and can do nothing but draw 2-d rectangles, not sure how to proceed.

In SketchUp, go to Window>Preferences>OpenGL and untick Use Fast Feedback. Any improvement?

The fact that worked indicates two things. First, you are using Windows (please update your profile with that information. It currently shows “64” which really isn’t useful.)

The other is that you likely have an integrate graphics card, probably Intel, and its not really up to snuff in the OpenGL department. It would be helpful if you would also add the graphics card information to your profile.
