With the New Year upon us, I wish to make a Toast to our Sages.
Thank you Sages, for sharing your time, knowledge and patience with all of us;
and enriching our forum, our modeling and our presentations so generously.
Happy New Year to all.

Possibly the nicest part of 3D Basecamp was getting to meet many of the Sages in person, as well as other community members, and share a few real world drinks in the process.
No matter how much I think I know, I just keep learning more from these guys.
And from me to all of you out there, happy new year (within two hours).
At the next Basecamp we need to have a meet and greet for the Sages, it would be really nice to put a face to many of these names that I interact with on an almost daily basis.

Absolutely! Although there are so many that deserve our appreciation, I’d especially like to thank Dave R. for the depth and breadth of his contribution to the community - both here and for so many years at Sketchucation. It’s hard to count the number of people that he’s helped and the number of issues he’s helped resolve. (not to the mention the Dave method!)
I’d also like to acknowledge the incredibly useful (and clever) methods and tutorials that Box constantly comes up with. I’ve learned so much about efficient and creative modelling from watching and working through his many gifs.
And, not to forget the plugin authors whose generous (and mostly free) contributions have made Sketchup the infinitely useful 3D tool that it is. Special thanks to Fredo6, TIG, ThomThom, Chris Fullmer, Didier Bur, Whaat, and SamDMitch.
And don’t forget to add Eneroth’s name to this list.
A prosperous and happy New Year to all and your friends and families.
Of course - how could I forget! (always the danger when you spell out a list). She’s quite remarkable and has produced a raft of clever and useful plugins.
I should also add that I appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment — and the rapid pace of continual improvement — in the development of your plugins. I’ve been following along with great interest and expect to pull the trigger sometime in the New Year.
