Tiny keyboard on iPad

I’m using SketchUp on an iPad Mini 7 using iOS 18.4.1. Whenever I need to type something, I am offered the tiny phone-sized keyboard, not the full-sized keyboard. I haven’t found any way to force it to use the larger keyboard. Is this possible?

Meh - that was wrong (I’m on phone - so check this): there’s a keyboard key (on mine,it displays emoji keyboard), hold that. It’ll pop up for keyboard language, full size, left or right mini-keyboard.

I do see the little keyboard icon with the … symbol on it, but I don’t see any option after tapping that to change the size of the keyboard. Clicking the “show keyboard” option just brings up the tiny one.

Well, immediately after typing that it’s now showing the large keyboard again. Unfortunately I have no idea what I did differently.

Turns out I had Scribble enabled on the iPad. Once I turned that off, the tiny keyboard changed back to the full sized one.
