Texturing with one texture

Good day
I have a problem texturing an object using only one texture for a 3D object

(In flight simulator one texture is required)

Is it possible to use a program or plugin to remember the texture positioning settings for a given part of the object and transfer or clone this setting from the texture to another part of the object

I will try to explain it with examples

this is the part of the texture that I would like to apply to different elements in the object

After positioning it on the first object and positioning the texture I try to read the texture using the picker (1) and fill the texture with the bucket (2)

and I get the texture in the first position which works very well with several textures

but with one texture I have to re-set the positioning which becomes troublesome with more or small elements

I am aware that the picker and bucket tools work correctly
and transfer the texture in this way unchanged (without positioning)

But I would like to transfer the texture with the texture positioning settings so that the pin settings are remembered

If this is not possible in SketchUp itself, maybe there is some plugin (free or paid) that will do it

Thank you very much for any tips

Best regards
Witold

You can do it in SketchUp, with only one texture. Be sure it’s not Projected.

You can also use an extension for UV unwrapping and UV mapping - Wrap-R

Thanks for the answer

But WrapR is a complicated tool and rather for professional mapping (there is no demo so I won’t even try it and I don’t know if it does what I need)

For UV mapping I have DM_SketchUV and Marginal_UVEditor

But sometimes I have to make some kind of tower
and I want to transfer a selected piece of (positioned) texture to the next walls

And when I do that SketchUp transfers the texture nicely but adjusts the side to what it finished so that there is continuity

And I only want to transfer
(positioned) texture selection

But when I keep the sampler and drill, the texture on the new wall loses positioning and I have to position it again

So I’m looking for a way or a plugin to not position each wall after each together

Best regards

Why dont you use groups/components for equal parts?
That way you only have to (re)position the texture once.

thank you all for your valuable advice but I read on the forum and it’s not that easy because you always lose UV mapping

No problem, you’ll have to continue setting it manually
