I have down loaded a techo bloc material from the 3d warehouse. It has inserted it in the drawing. Now how do I get the image to convert to a texture?
An image will convert into a textured face if you explode it.

And if it’s this: Techno-lego-2 | 3D Warehouse if you go to the Materials panel, you’ll see it included with in-model colors (PC, click on the house for In Model colors, Mac, use the pulldown and select “Colors in Model”).
On some models now, with unique materials, in SketchUp you can click on the Materials link and download one of the materials in that model directly:
Go to Barrel Boxes & Grain Sack | 3D Warehouse
Click on “Materials”, and download the material directly to the paint tool and your model:
