I’m taking the advice I give to many of my clients and producing something analog to share.
Photography is a passion that comes and goes as I feel creative and as the seasons and lighting inspire me - but it is not part of my everyday work. Many of my clients have expressed appreciation of my photo work that they see on my holiday card or as backgrounds to my presentations - so I decided to produce a calendar. These will be A3 likely - but I have to see the first one before I commit to the size. I’ll send them out with a start date in August… and hope to make it something I can produce (and pay for) every 2 years. These will go to long time clients, some friends and family, and a couple of galleries and artists that I worked with a long time ago.
I’m using Whitewall to print, and just keeping it simple with their layout app. The fonts are similar to the 2 print ads that I run in a trade publication (with one of my photos rotating in the background) - and the red coloring on the dates lines up nicely with the accent colors I use on postcards.
