I have created a 2D image using a graph in sketch up and when I try to pull the image up to get a 3d image the tool doesn’t do anything. elect2.layout (8.5 KB)
That would be because you are trying to work in Layout which is a 2D companion software.
Try the same shape in Sketchup.

How about this.
That’s because all you have is an outline. SketchUp does not have any tool to extrude just an outline. Box beat me to it with an animation of exactly what I mean.
