Hi. This is my first time posting a topic and I may be just too inexperienced at this time but wondering if anyone has any idea how I can make these look more realistic using my vray settings? I have sketchup 2017 and have been playing with lots of settings, reading comments, etc. and haven’t found anything that works.
Is there a basic thing or step that I’m missing?
It looks pretty good to me for direct from SketchUp. For more realism, use a rendering program. Many users seem to like Vray. there’s lots of other choices as well.
If you are using Vray, you should paint your model with Vray materials, or at least make sure that everything uses a good texture. Untweaked plain colours will always look plain, like matte plastic.
