Hi all,
I am trying to construct a steel staircase with double stringers. In the corners I have encountered a design issue when it comes to joining corners - is there a solution for this? I thing this will be a structural issue in reality.
Thankyou

Do you plan to model the thickness of the steel? How thick is it? Is it going to be flat, C channel, something else?
What is your landing and treads made of?
You will probably need to add some steel to the landing to box it out, then you can tie in the inside corner.
I am still not sure if I go for a PFC or Steel Sheet tbh.
Treads will be made out of a steel sheet and then covered in timber or stone.
How would you sort out the corner joints?
a post, or balustrade, or square tube…

Any number of ways depending on the design intent. That’s your job…
Have you done an image search to get ideas?
