SKP to a cnc router to cut?

How to go from SKP to a CNC router cut, i would say SKP to DXF but i cant get that to work, basically trying to make a half dome on my CNC machine from a half dome on Sketchup.

You might have a look at Vectric software. They have some versions that will import SketchUp files directly.

What happened with your DXF export?

Hi Dave, when i placed the .dxf file into Carbide Motion (the software that controls my CNC Shapeoko) it would not show on the simulation. I did the same steps again and got an error from the Motion software.

Oh my…you have been busy…thanks a million for looking at this. I did try several different ways prior to posting, although I doubt I would ave caught the plane error. Anyhow, good to know I would need seperate groups for each “slot”. Thanks again, Charlie (Back to play w/extension some more)
