Sketchup Save file in folder it was opened in

How to make sketchup save model in a the folder it was opened in.

So if I go to Finder on Mac (folders) find my model double click it to open. It opens in sketchup.
Then I click save as in sketchup it open the Finder folders menu but not in the folder I opened it in. It open Finder folders at the top of the tree structure so that I have to click my way down into the folders to find the folder it was opened in.

HOW TO FIX …TOTALLY ANNOYING

on my mac’s,

Save >> uses current folder
Save As >> opens Finder in current folder
Save Copy As >> opens Finder in the folder I last saved a copy [could be anywhere]

I’m still on El Capitan, fill in your profile as the os version may make a difference…
