I bought sketchup pro 2023 and installed it and had a couple of problems so I thought I’d uninstall it and reinstall it but when I went to reinstall it, it was gone it was no longer in the Sketchup product downloads. Does anyone know how I can get it back. Thank you.

It may well still be in your downloads folder, but here is a direct link to the Windows installer:

Everything went well. Thank you. Funny wise there wasn’t an option to run installer as admin. I hope that won’t create a problem in the future.
If you right clicked on the downloaded file Run as administrator should have been almost at the top of the context menu.
Do I need to go back to check and see if I have it running as administrator and if so how do I get back there since
I already have sketchup loaded?
Since you don’t know if you installed it using Run as administrator, run a Repair just to be safe. Quit SketchUp, find the installer file in your Downloads folder, right click on it, choose Run as administrator and when prompted, choose Repair.
You don’t want to be running the actually program as administrator, just the installer to make sure all permission are correctly set.

Is there anyway I can remove recent files in Layout?
You can do that if it really bothers you. Close LAyOut. Go into User/AppData/Local/SketchUp/SketchUp 2023/LayOut and open layout.private.json. Hunt through the file for MRU_LIST and delete the files listed there. Then save the changes. Next time you open LayOut the Recent Files list will be empty.
