SU Pro 2019 on windows 10 Pro.
Backups are set, path is set, time interval is set. it just doesn’t do anything.
Ideas?
The time interval is for auto-save (aka, recovered) files. Backup and auto-save are different. When you have backup checked, it copies the current file to a back up file and then saves. Autosave saves every (choose your timeframe) specified timeframe.
Right. thanks for the clarification. But if I crash, there should be an autosave. And there isnt.
Auto-saved files are not saved in same directory as your original SketchUp model.
In SU 19.3 and 2020, auto-save files are stored in the following locations.
Mac
~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp (2019 or 2020)/working/SKETCHUP/RecoveredFiles
Win
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 20xx\SketchUp\working\SKETCHUP\RecoveredFiles
