My Materials window has two windows inside so when I try to edit the glass’ transparency I cant because one is overlapping the other and I’ve tried to move it down and it wont let me. any suggestions?
You’ve got the secondary pane open. Click on the - in the black square in the upper right corner of the Materials window.

FWIW, that secondary pane is really handy when you want to save custom materials you’ve created so you can use them in future models. With the top pane set to In Model and the bottom one set to a local library, you can click and drag the material’s thumbnail from the top to the bottom pane.
