Sketchup latest update version 2026 (June) fail to load OpenStudio Root Directory

Hi everyone,
I’m currently experiencing an issue when trying to load the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug‑in on SketchUp 2026 using the latest available plugin version v1.12.0‑rc1. Before I updated to a new version of the current SketchUp 2026, I was still able to use the plugin Open Studio V.1.11, but since my latest update a while ago, it has caused the plugin to fail to load.
Even though the version compatibility matrix states that SketchUp 2024–2026 should work with OpenStudio Plug‑in v1.8.0 or higher, the plugin still fails to load on my system.

When SketchUp starts, I get the following error message:

“Error loading OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-In:
127: The specified procedure could not be found. – openstudio_modeleditor.so”

I have tried:
Installing and reinstalling the plugin
Verifying the OpenStudio Application version
Cleaning SketchUp preferences
Ensuring the Ruby path matches the expected version
Running SketchUp as an administrator
But the error persists.

Has anyone encountered this issue with SketchUp 2026 + OpenStudio Plug‑in v1.12.0‑rc1?
Is there a known workaround, patch, or specific installation procedure required for this version combination?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You are trying to use OpenStudio DLL (libraries) from v1.11.0 with v1.12.0-rc1.

Install version 1.12.0-rc1 and set the path correctly to this.

Also, please update your forum profile. It says you are still using SU 2017.
