SketchUp crashes on start

Hi, when I open Sketchup I’m getting following error code:

Crashed Thread: 0 CrBrowserMain Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGABRT)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000000000
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Application Specific Information:
Crashing on exception: Attempt to change noneditable color list 3D-Druck
abort() called

Do you get a bug splat @patele?
If you do, do you send in the error report?
If you did, @colin should be able to help.

Could you post a screenshot?

The crash you had can happen if SketchUp was installed by an admin user, and then opened by a non-admin user.

The usual solution is to move the SketchUp folder from Applications to Trash, then mount the installer disk image again, and copy the SketchUp folder from the disk image to Applications, while you are signed in as the non-admin user. Make sure to eject the disk image, then go into the SketchUp folder in Applications, and open SketchUp from there.
