Sketchup 2024 & 2025 extension problem

Recently i cannot use the Window Builder extension

It has been discussed a couple of times already. The script is old and uses code that doesn’t work in the newest iterations of Ruby (in SketchUp 2024 and newer. The developer has quit developing. Hints and instructions for a fix in this thread:

I cant seem to get this plugin to work in SU24. I can load the interface but once i try to place the item into the model it doesnt do anything. Any tricks to get this to work? or do we have to wait for the developer to update the plugin? Im dependent on it, any other suggestions for door/window plugins? paid or free. thanks
