it was working great a couple of days ago then i made some changes to the model and now its just throwing out the group in a straight line at at an angle.
have attached the skp for reference if anyone has any ideas what im doing wrong.
(everything lined up on red axis, straight line reference same length as curve and group.)

try tapping the arrow keys, probably down.
thanks! how do you change the start end directions? is that after selecting model-straight-curve-enter
cheers, that just changed the angle it poked out
down key solved it!

Always look in the bottom left corner for active tips on the current tool in use.
In this case a combination of up and down arrow will give different results.
