I am having a bit of trouble with a shadow study. Does the project base (altitude, geodetic above sea level) come into effect when using sketchup to produce shadow studies?
Thanks !

If you geolocate your model it will produce the correct angles of the sun throughout the year at that location.
File > Geolocation > Add Location
You also have to make sure your model is oriented correctly.
Thank you for the quick response. I have the latitude and longitude set correctly. What I was wondering is if the projects grade elevation is accounted for, and if it makes a difference. For example, if the building is at the top of a hill, it will be closer to the sun, therefore casting a longer shadow.
Iām fairly certain that when you geolocate the model it accounts for elevation.
