How to set dimention format to show numbers in decimal

In the desktop versions, go to Window/Model Info/Units, and set the format to Decimal, and choose how many digits to show after the decimal point using the Display precision dropdown. Something like this:
And while you are at it, uncheck Enable length snapping and save the blank drawing As Template, so your new drawings will start with that off. It causes trouble if you leave it on (the default, unfortunately).
In the Web versions, choose the next to last menu item on the right (an i in a circle : 
) and choose one of the decimal units and precision.
