by default and not a temporary document which is auto-wiped during regular shutdown of SketchUp, at least optionally.
Keeping the storage clean is a nice thing but having an Auto-save document if something unexpected happens is surely nicer.
btw, having a revision system lite by a configurable counter (“xxx.01.skp”) for the Auto-save and more important the BackUp documents would be neat too.
