Requesting updated PC and Mac specifications required to run Sketup for web efficiently

Hi All.

Re: 2025 PC and Mac specifications for Sketup for web.

My LENOVO ThinkPad X1 Yoga 3rd Gen appears to be woefully inadequate for running Sketup for web. Yes, I am a total novice.

Sketchup is probably the most intense thing I would use a computer for and the Lenovo has been fine up til now (although is not sufficient in resources for a Win11 upgrade).

I’m considering a new device (mini PC or Mac potentially) but would be grateful to any of you who could offer some future-proofed PC and Mac specification recommendations as all I’ve been able to find is specifications.

Good luck with that.

Basically, you want a fast processor, 4 GHz. Sketchup uses a single core only. For rendering, you need a video card in the RTX 30 series or higher; more video memory is better. Lastly, you need at least 32 G of system RAM.
