I usually lock viewport layers after laying out my project. It’s faster and less prone to errors.
I’d like to be able to Update reference through context menu even if they are locked.
Right now I need to unlock a viewport layer, reload reference with right click menu, lock viewport layer again.
I can also do it through document setup but it’s a new menu, I have to find, that gets floating above my drawing, that I then have to navigate at least once through it’s tabs and then close again.
Finally I can close sketchup and open it from layout, and then lock layers and each time I save the model it reloads. However, then it always reloads when I save it and I waste a lot of time waiting for reloads.
It’s a simple thing, that would be a bless.
