Recurring Validity Check Error

I keep seeing this identical Validity Check message, but I can’t think how to track down the offending parts. I’m not sure if it originates from Profile Builder 4 or if I have created a bad component. Any pointers? If I can use the CFace values to highlight the component I can potentially track it down and rebuild it.

If you save the file after the validity check comes up, open the file again and run the vailidity check, does the same thing show up again?

That’s interesting. Hit save and the file keeps bringing up the same codes. Close the file, re-open, hit save and I still get 6 fixes, but a different set of numbers.

If I can’t use the codes do you think deleting parts of the model to isolate the fault might be the way forward? It’s late here, I can try that in the morning.

I suppose that deleting an object (and purging the file if said object is a component) then saving and closing/reopening, would be a way to isolate which object is the recalcitrant one. Maybe try a purge first and see if that does anything.

Of course use Save as and create a new file for this testing. I haven’t heard of anyone else reporting this with Profile Builder 4 but if you suspect it, anything created with the extension would be the place to start.

Thanks for your input @DaveR

Problem found. One of the vertical profile components in an Assembly had been incorrectly edited to add a line in a face instead of drawing the line outside the assembly. PB4 could no longer correctly process the vertical profile for a height change and SU started generating the loop errors. User fail on my part. And that concludes today’s lesson.
