Re-solved Problem!

Hello,

I am using SketchUp for iPad with Apple Pencil (2nd generation). I have a problem with the Measurements box:

  • When I dock it to the bottom corner, the box is half hidden outside of the screen. I cannot see the whole menu.

  • When I leave it floating (not docked), the box constantly follows the tip of my Apple Pencil, which makes it very uncomfortable to use.

  • I tried resetting the toolbar positions, but the problem still happens.

It would be very helpful if the Measurements box could dock properly at the bottom corners (fully visible) or maybe allow docking on the sides of the screen.

Thank you!

It’s very frustrating …

the version I am using : 7.1.1

ipad 12.9 / 6th generation

Hello @EndlessDark , as of a few minutes ago we released v7.2.1 to the app store. That release includes a fix for the bug about docking to the bottom of screen. When un-docked, the measurement box is designed to follow the cursor or pencil as it moves around on screen, if you find this behavior distracting I suggest keeping the box docked to one of the docking locations on screen (upper middle, upper right, lower right, or lower left) Please take a look and let me know if it works out for you, thanks!

Hello @rene_fresquez, It looks like the issue I was experiencing after the last update has been resolved. Thank you to you and your team.

Glad it worked for you!
