Problem with SketchUp not creating a face

I have a model that a portion of just won’t form a face. I’m guessing that it’s because they aren’t coplaner but if that’s the case it must be so mildly offset. I’ve uploaded the file for you to take a look at. Any help is appreciated.tv cabinet.skp (39.5 KB)

Give us a clue, which bit are you having a problem with?

Sorry, I thought it would be obvious; it’s the legs underneath.

Ok, I see that now, but to be honest it’s three edges that bare no relationship to anything else.
How are you expecting them to form a face?
It can be done, but you need to look at the geometry.
The ‘face’ on the foot can be push/pulled in roughly the right direction, but far from correct. The three edges won’t form any face. But try drawing diagonals between those three edge’ corners.Stringer

Thank you for the helpful gif, I’ve tried it step by step and it works great until the deletion of the lines - the faces just disappear

I meant to say, ctrl with eraser softens, alt with eraser hides, eraser on it’s own deletes.
Shame they don’t tell you these things when you download the software.
