Please help me. This does not appear to be a sketchup model

Good morning @colin. i have to design to other computer with my external but when i’m back my file can not open it. Can you have me please?

Thank you…

What version of SketchUp are you actually using? Your profile says SketchUp for Schools which is a web based version for schoolchildren. What operating system? “Education” is not an operating system.

If you want help, please put the right information in your forum profile. Also you need to make the files accessible so they can be downloaded. Currently you have them set so access is denied.

Can you try this link again?

After you fix your forum profile and put the right information in it.

Looks pretty grim for both files. The headers indicate they are not SketchUp files. They look like this:

A good SketchUp file’s header includes “SketchUp Model” and the version at the beginning.

Where have you been saving the files as you were working on them?

Now you’ve gone from one wrong entry to another. There is no Free Plan of SketchUp 2023.1.340 64. Are you using a cracked version of SketchUp? Or are you using SketchUp for Web?

I use the trial version of sketchup

It’s still not the Free Plan. It would be Pro.

As I wrote, the files you shared are not SketchUp files.

But the i shared are the Skp file. Are you ready to repair ?

I looked at your files and I showed that they are not actually SketchUp files. They don’t have the correct headers and they are missing important data. If they were once SketchUp files they’ve been corrupted. Possibly that happened due to where you were saving the files.

I asked where you were saving them as you were working on them.

i save it from external drive.

That’s most likely why they are corrupted. You should be saving and working on the file on an internal drive, not externally.

Do you have the .skb backup files? Maybe they are recoverable.

Again please put the right information in your forum profile.
