I just downloaded the 2025 version on my brand new MacBook Pro 2024…super excited to be able to use the new “photorealistic material” icon…
But it’s not available!! The icon is not active…
Can someone tell me why?

in sketchup preferences, is the new graphic engine selected, in the graphics section ?
that was it… thank you again…
and now it’s my date/time icons that are not active…OMG!!
Now the position of the sun is set in the Environments panel unless you untick the box for Set Sun Location in the Environments panel.
You should spend some time going through the release notes for SkethUp 2025.
