Your animations and renders shown here are just stunning! I am in awe!

Looking at your wonderful metallic renders has made me wonder if I should re-visit this. It is an ‘impossible’ type face. I made it about eighteen years ago before I had really got to grips with 3D so it so It is drawn in 2D isometric and no models exist. Even if they did they would contain depth anomalies that confuse renderers with regard to light and shadow. I might try a couple by hand in Photoshop and see if I can get anything approaching your stunning results. Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow! That is some AWESOME artwork you have there. Thank you for sharing.

Wow indeed, @marakony! Incredible designs and animations - love them!

Regarding rounding and chamfering, look for the extensions RoundCorner and FredoCorner by @Fredo6. I have used the somewhat older RoundCorner a lot, and find it extremely handy. The newer FredoCorner has more features, but I haven’t tried it yet.

This work is a piece of art. Magnificent. My eyes clipped to them.

david_macd, thank you. Your impossible alphabet looks awesome. You should definitely consider updating it. I’d do them so only from one particular view all strokes and curves of letterform blends into one glyph (let’s say front view) and create a side view to see these strokes “collapse.”

Sean-WFU, Russelll_Knightt thank you, guys!

TDahl, thank you. Both rounding corners extensions are great and I use them all the time, though there are some problems that need special attention. Let’s say if you use boolean operations (subtract, merge, etc.) It’s most likely rounding corners extensions won’t work properly and you will need to detect the problem, switch on the hidden geometry option and most likely delete and redraw parts of the model. Detecting the problem and fixing it may take hours so overall it’s like walking on a minefield. I’d like SketchUp to take care of it.

You’ve inspired me to actually complete the next 36 days comp so thanks for that!

Beautiful work!
Big applause for your commitment to finishing it all despite what sound like frustrations driving you… Round the Corner… boom boom (sorry)

no I really like the metallic renders and those stone’y ones with the odd crumbled corner. really nice touches.
