Hello! I am very new to SketchUp and I am having issues with objects not staying in place. I will draw out the object then when I go to orbit said object will be moving around and not stay connected to my model. How do I fix this issue/ what am I doing wrong?
It was created as a face me component.
Explode it and regroup it as a component and make sure the box next to “Always Face Camera” is unchecked.
@LinearGraphs has got it in one. This isn’t really an orbiting issue.
By the way, your video shows you are not using SketchUp for Schools which is a web based version for school children. Please correct your forum profile . That information helps us help you but only if it is correct.
I thought my issue was the “always facing camera” as well but when I make a component it shows that box is unchecked. Could it be something else causing the problem?
Share the SketchUp file so we can see what you have set up.
Are any of the objects inside the component face me?

The building is face me.
You appear to have included heather in the component.
Thank you so much for your help! Greatly appreciated!
