Hi everyone ! I have just signed up but not sure i am in the right place ! I am french, using a french version of sketchup and getting and error message…in french.
I can’t open my file anymore, the error message says " format de fichier innatendu " which we could maybe translate by " unexpected file format " ?
If anyone has an idea, I’ be really grateful !

From where else other than your opened file do you think I could have screen captured those two images?
Did you install SU2025 and open the file on your computer?
I recently folowed a timber frame course on Sketchup 2023 and the instructor advised us to stick with the 2023 version as the 2025 was according to him causing too many bugs…is there a way to save it from 2025 on a 2023 version ?
Once the file is opened and saved with SU2025, you will be able to open it in SU2023.
In fact, you will be able to open it directly in SU2021 or SU2022, and through extensions, in any previous version.
Thanks again, I admit my question was a bit silly, I am a beginner on computers…I haven’t retrieved all the scenes that were created but at least i can open it, thank you very much !
