Hi everyone,

I’ve just discovered this extension and was wondering if anyone with experience using it could share some insight. Specifically, I’d like to know whether hardware can be applied within the tool, and if there are options for adding holes for toggles, adjustable shelves, and similar details.

I’m teaming up with a carpenter, and this extension looks like something that could benefit both of us—especially for project pricing and optimizing material usage.

Hello Aleks,

Currently, OpenCutList doesn’t offer the possibility to add hardware with their holes automatically.

This extension was mainly develop around the need to extract data from an existing model. So, it can already count hardware parts and extract their holes to DXF or SVG for later use in a CAM software, for example.

Developing a smart tool for hardware placement is on our to-do list. But we still need to figure out the best way to do it :wink:
(We’re currently working on an other cool feature).
