Novice question: cutting a hole at an angle?

This is with Sketchup 2017 (not Pro version). I have a cuboid rotated at an angle, and I can’t work out how to cut a circular hole vertically down into it. i.e., not perpendicular to the cuboid surface, but vertically down the global model blue axis? As if a vertical rod (white) was sunk into the cuboid, and then deleted. (I don’t want the hole to go all the way through the cuboid.)

Many thanks!

This is the very basic way of doing it.

Alternatively you can use Drape Tool and then push the face with Joint Push Pull extension.

Fantastic - many thanks  I had tried using Intersect Faces, but had missed out on the Reverse Faces bit.
