Non-planar, image/surface based entourage drawn "out of order"

I am using “2D images” for foliage and entourage for this model (please correct my chosen term for this type of object). However, I am somehow causing “images” in the background to appear over the “images” in the foreground. These are not placed within the same plane, and this issue can arise at random times with random objects. I have had to spend a lot of time purging vast amounts of entourage when this occurs in views. What strategy can I perform to prevent this from happening, or fix it when it occurs?

I would also like a better understanding of what is happening, as when I click from image to image, it shifts it to the front as if I am rearranging layer order. I understand the concept behind Z fighting, but these are non-planar and are placed in specific locations of my views.

For example: although this tree is placed before/closer to the camera, the bush behind it appears before it.

This can happen at any time, with any object. See below for more examples.

Go to the style setting and change the material transparency.

It’s hard to know what could be happening without the file, the screenshots don’t tell much, probably the images are components that always face the camera so they rotate depending on the view.

This is close. The solution to this issue is to change the material transparency quality setting from faster, to fine. This will have a performance impact, so use this setting in your final render style.

I apologize, the issue being shown in the pictures is how the bushes/person overlaps the tree in the foreground, even though the former are placed behind the tree. It turns out, objects that use a PNG and subsequently, material transparency, must use the “fine” transparency setting under the style editor to prevent this issue from occurring.

Do you mean this is close or closed? One letter makes a different meaning.
