New 3D Warehouse model viewer is broken!

Since there has been nothing else on this thread reference this issue since Oct 2016, and I’ve heard no more since November, I went ahead and completely uninstalled Firefox - including the profile folder so as to dump all settings and anything that might be causing the issue despite the fact that I never had an issue with the 3D WebGL viewer prior to whatever changes were made sometime around 02 Sept 2016.

I downloaded and installed the most current version of Mozilla Firefox - 50.1.0 (previously had 49.x.x after updating twice since this issue began). Again, as I advised in Post #31, 16 Sept, the browser supports WebGL as indicated at get.webgl.org and doesmybrowsersupportwebgl.com. I am still on a Windows 7 system… just like before. And still… nothing will load - not even using that new bar that’s plastered across the models now. A month or so ago, I was presented with crash reports that could be submitted everytime a model didn’t load, but I don’t even get that now. All I get is, “Error - The specified model could not be loaded.”

I had sort of resigned myself to just downloading anything I wanted to wander around in, but apparently soon, I won’t even be able to do that because downloads in the SU8 file format are supposed to be no longer available. They appear to be still available at the moment…but I guess may not be so, soon.

So maybe someone will tell me if the issue, as far as everyone else is concerned, has been put to bed or what. If so, I’ll just fahgeddaboutit and quit trying to get models to load, because there’s no sense in even bothering with the warehouse anymore if that’s the case. And if I don’t want to switch to at least Trimble’s Sketchup 2014, I would think that a person would not be able to upload models created in SU8 if that file format won’t be available for download, but I dunno…

Thanks
