Moving skp file to flash drive for printing

I have some flat patterns I would like printed. Some parts are 36 inches long and I need to go to a print shop. How do I save a skp file to a flash drive? I only have the online version of ShetchUp.

With the free web version you can export PNG images from your model and put them onto a flash drive to take to the print shop. Or e-mail the images to them.

If you upgrade to SketchUp Go you can export PDF files to scale. Or with SketchUp Pro you can use LayOut to setup the views of the parts to scale and on large enough paper to suit, then generate a PDF to take to the print shop.

What are the parts and how are you using the printed result?

BTW, please update your forum profile. There is no Free web version 2021 anymore.

They are flat patterns for an adirondack chair.

Cool! You’re looking forward to summer, then.

So with the free web version there’s not really an option for printing to scale. SketchUp Go gives you an option and Pro andLayOut would be best.

Here’s a screenshot from LayOut with some parts set to print at 1:1 on Arch E paper.

And from SketchUp Go, setting the Print to Scale thing for printing to PDF.

ETA: I forgot to add a screen grab of the PDF from SketchUp Go. I had to zoom in to get all the edges to show in the screenshot.

With the objective of printing to scale, I have to upgrade. Thank you all.

Yes. That’s correct.

Best wishes.
