Thanks for letting me know I could “cheat” a little where the ramps meet the arches. ^u^

Hi guys,
Couldn’t find where to post a simple suggestion for Aaron to model.
Its the Lockheed L-10 Electra and I think Aaron can do this in less then 3 hours easy! :grinning:

Cheers,

Hey guys, new to the forum and missed the live feed today but following it now on Youtube. For some reason when i save the model images to my desktop as jpeg and go to add them to my sketchup desktop via watermark, it doesnt see them in their location. it sees other jpegs ok and i can import one of them with the watermark option no problem. Any ideas as to whats wrong??

Try changing the extension from .jpeg to .jpg and see if that helps. Also make sure the import file type is set to .jpg if it isn’t.

What Dave says should work. It’s only within the last year that SketchUp was fixed to allow JPEG as well as JPG. You should be able to set All Supported Image Types, and not have to choose JPG in particular.

Ah so if im using the 2017 version it might not accept jpeg? for some reason though I cant seem to save the files onto my desktop with anything other than jpeg!!??

It won’t see .jpeg files at all.

You can change the extension to .jpg after they are saved.

This forum, for some reason, converts images to .jpeg but no matter.

FWIW, your profile indicates you are using the web based version. Maybe you could correct that?

Tried that, and still my only option to save is jpeg, maybe i need to go into photoshop to save it!!

You can do that if you want. I’d just edit the file name and remove the e from the extension.

Ok guys thanks for the help, appreciated
