Does anybody knows how to access to this function? This is missing in this versions and it doesn’t allow me to use it anymore in the version 2022

you need to activate (or even reinstall) the dynamic component extension.
the report system uses it

no, the reason why we don’t see any development of the DC is simply that they are dead.
they have been abandoned some time ago. these days it’s about live components.
actually, I learned that here. I had no idea either. the link is not obvious

I understand that many, many more people build Dynamic Components than bother with Live Components.

oh absolutely. DC have been around for so long that it will take years to be replaced, if they are even.
plus, DCs can also be useful to embed data about the models, data that can be used in reports or in layout.
meanwhile, I build normal models rather than bothering with DCs in the first place

This. I hope DCs won’t be going anywhere soon. Or if they do, that some other option is offered for adding information to components for use in reports and for labels in LayOut. I only have one DC with dimension settings that I use regularly. The vast majority of my modeling involves on-off parts and the time making them dynamic would be wasted but for some it’s nice to add information to them.
