Merging like materials in a model

Is there a quick way to merge like or similar materials with in a model? I would upload the model but it’s to big.

No, I don’t think there’s something like that. But “Material Replacer” plugin can replace all of one material in the model with another that is in the model.

So it’s not ‘signed’ for the newer SketchUp versions, but it should work OK when using the “Unrestricted” Extension Loading Policy…

Thanks for this. I didn’t understand the intent then. I thought it was to merge two materials that looked alike but actually did not share properties. I found this useful myself.
